Who is this product for?
Banks, insurance companies, multinationals - in fact anyone who needs advice about the risk proles of specic countries around the world.
What does this product consist of ?
At the top level there is a picture: a summary map of the world, scaled by population size and shaded to reect the total country risk on a normalised scale from 1 to 10. Beneath this are the words and the numbers. The map is driven by the full numerical database and all the individual country reports.
Is it free?
The top level map is free (subject to our terms and conditions) . If you play with the risk sliders on the mixing board you will get a feel for how the dierent risk factors interplay with each other. However, if you want access to the numerical database and the individual country reports you will need to sign a contract with us to get a login.
How do I get a login?
Just contact us and we can sort one out for you.
Are you predicting the future?
We are not trying to predict things, we are assessing risk. If a calamity does not happen it does not mean there was no risk. It is possible to walk across a busy road blindfolded and get to the other side unscathed. There was no accident but a huge risk. We are, however, forward looking and oer an evaluation of how risks will change in the future for each factor and country.
Where do the numbers come from?
They are not mechanically driven from a historic database but based on the judgement of our sta. At AEGIS we employ a broad cross section of subject matter experts who come from from Academia, the Intelligence Services and the Corporate world. Between them we have an unrivalled breadth and depth of experience across the globe.
How often is it updated?
Almost every day.
